John Grice's paintings take the traditional subject of still-life, and challenge expectation through unusual juxtapositions. He attempts to present the images in a grander, more intense light. His artworks are created through a process similar to collage, bringing together elements of found imagery, the artists own photography and carefully observed first hand drawing.
